The fry are now all free swimming and the parents have their hands full keeping then all in one place. I’m feeding them small amounts of microworms several times a day. I’ve also seen them grazing on the Java Moss.Purchase Levothroid

I wish the rest of my Rams were as good at parenting as these two. This is the first time that this mismatched pair has spawned and they are doing an amazing job.

They spawned Monday evening on an oak leaf in the middle of their 5.5 gallon tank. The little male seemed to be doing most of the fanning and removing of infertile eggs but every once in a while the female would give him a break so he could scavenge for blackworms amongst the leaves.

Last night (Wed) they started doing something none of my other pairs have done. Instead of eating the eggs, they began transporting them to the front left corner of the tank! This was actually perfect because the bare, black bottom of the tank made it very easy to observe the eggs as the started to wriggle around and hatch. At one point the whole mass of 50+ fry was quivering.
