This is the initial setup after the move to our new house. It was setup in a bit of a hurry to avoid having the fish in buckets any longer than necessary. Amazingly all 50 fish survived the transfer and bucket time. This tank was dubbed the “swamp” tank because it reminded me of the swamp behind one of the house’s I lived in when I was younger.

This tank was actually setup over several days prior to Sarah and I moving into our new house. The 40 gallon breeder aquariums are by far my favoite tank to work with. They’re just the right size. This tank is one of two 40 gallons in my home office. This tank has been dubbed the “Grass” tank because the Java Moss looks like a grassy hill now that it has filled in.
This was the first time I worked with Glossostigma, Riccia Fluitans, and Willow Moss.
